Early Childhood Services
Why is early childhood development important?
The early years of childhood forms the basis of intelligence, personality, social behavior, and capacity to learn. Research consistently shows that brain development is the most rapid in early childhood. In addition, children who receive adequate assistance and stimulation in their early years achieve more success at school. Therefore, a good foundation in the early years provides children with a strong basis for future development.
At HKEPS, we believe that we have an important role in promoting development of young children. Specifically, our role is to help children develop a range of skills needed for school readiness.
